Would Recommendfor a not in-ground-post mailbox. I used three, 40-lb bags of sand to fill it with and after a years and a half in Appalachian mountain weather(tough winters), it hasn't budged. Be aware though, the numbers that came with it all fell off in less than a month so buy better quality ones right off the git-go and be done with it.

The mailbox arrived quicker than expected. Despite it arriving with no instructions at all, I was able to get it assembled quickly after finding a video on YouTube. It is a “plastic” mailbox, but looks much better than the rusted and battered box and pole that the previous owners of our house had. Living on a busy street with no sidewalk, I appreciate the rear door so that I do not have to step or lean out into traffic.

Worth it, You need a drill
Would RecommendIt was light weight had solid features. The holes don’t exactly line up so you need a drill, and lots of patience. The instructions are only pictures.
It’s best to have an electric drill to assemble
