Would RecommendI had to install this box on a hard stucco (read: concrete) wall, so I had to make my own arrangements since screwing into stucco is not feasible. The only problem with the box was the installation of the grounding wire to the screw anchor provided. The screw did not tighten enough to hold the wire loop, so I had to use a thick washer to take up some of the screw length. In other respects the box and the GFCI outlet were perfect.

Outdoor Electrical Box
Would RecommendOverall very satisfied with the instructions and quality of the box. One item that should have been included was a gasket between the rear of the box and wall. Other than that it was fine.

Weatherproof Receptacle Kit
Would RecommendExcellent kit everything I needed in one small package to add outside receptacle. The price was very reasonable compared to purchasing all parts separately.

Weatherproof outdoor receptacle
Would RecommendNothing fancy about this. However, the cover isn't as obstructive when in use. A plus near high traffic areas.

As advertised
Would RecommendI installed this on the back of my house and haven’t had any trouble. It hasn’t rained yet but I can tell by it’s construction I am not going to have any popped breakers.

Good kit, but Lowes sent this instead of the GFCI.
This is a good quality kit, but I ordered the one with the GFCI and was sent this instead. I had to return and reorder the GFCI one. Got it and it is great! I like the metal box and the insulation pad that comes with the kit as well.

Not bad
Would RecommendThis product isn’t bad. It works fine. I put it on my temp power pole for a rent house.

Awkward cover.
Would Not RecommendThe cover lifts up at a weird angle that is more awkward to hold than the regular upright cover. The fact the this comes with a GFCI is good but doesn’t make up for the cover.

Nice all in one, but more to be desired.
Would RecommendI was really hoping for a little bit better quality for the price. The instructions are lacking detail, and once the box is mounted as shown in the photo, the door doesn't completely shut. I bought 2 of these boxes and they both do it. It signifies to me that the metal in the box is weak and allowing it to flex a little, which causes the door to bind up when closing. I've had them installed a week and a spider has already moved into one, I'm assuming because it had room between the door and box...
