Mostly good.

This was very easy to install by myself (60+ woman), no issues with getting the screws in for the cover. My only issue is that it doesn’t close completely. I wonder if I’m not seeing a catch or something? I bent a piece of wire to hold the cover to the inside area to hold it closed for now. Any suggestions?

Missing outlet

Jefferson City, MO Used the online order process. Had this weatherproof outlet and treated lumber. The outlet was missing from the weatherproof outlet kit and about 75% of the boards were bowed and one of them knotted up really bad to boot. Don't recommend Lowes online ordering at this store. They don't seem to inspect the material they set aside for the customer.

Difficult to Install

All went well until I tried to put in the screws to hold the cover in place. Because the spring was so strong, I had a lot of trouble holding the screwdriver and the screw while trying to align the screw with the threaded hole AND holding the cover open. More hands would have been handy... In reality, the "door" needs a way to prop it open while you put the screws in. I like the old RedDot box with the sperate doors for each outlet. Otherwise, the box was well made and serviceable.

Great outdoor outlet!

I tried this outdoor outlet as I liked the way it could be installed, either up/down or side to side. I only needed 2 outlets so this one made sense. Quick and easy install. I just purchased another one for the back of the house.

I got the power!

Had to replace outside outlet that was installed when house was built in 1956.This outlet did the job up to code.

Installed unit in my patio area. Works great because it required to be water proof & Gfci. Thank you.

Pure trash

Bought 4 of these pricy box/outlet combos, and none are worth having. None of the screw holes are threaded, and the screws are such low grade that every single screw stripped out trying to drive them in. Finally the threads grabbed on one screw which promptly snapped off in the hole, rendering that box totally useless. Stay far-far away from this product!
