Works as needed

We have 3 dogs and they kept slipping on our new rugs when running around. Happened to see this and it works well. Easy to peel and more affordable than the pads you place underneath (that never work). The roll is also big too so we have a lot of it left over. You only really need to place it in the corners.

Works Great In My High Heels!

I use this to keep my high heels from coming off....works like a charm!

Stick to it.

This tape actually works just like you want 2 sided carpet tape to work. I used it on a runner in a very high traffic area and have had absolutely no issues with carpet movement.

Easy to place

The tape rolled easy but stuck to the floor very well. I use it under rugs on the garage floor.

Perfect for hardwood floors

Do you also suffer from OCD and are constantly “squaring off” your carpet and/or runners? Never think about it again with this tape. Set it and forget it!

This tape Will damage your floors!

Used under commercial carpet squares, been down a year when we wanted to remove the carpet the tape will not come up. Had to literally pry up one corner of tape and pull with pliers. It splinters the wood floor and the residue of the adhesive is impossible to remove. Have tried many products. Called the company and about their tape that was supposed to be easily removed and they stated, “that was only up to 30 days removable.” When asked about how to remove the adhesive they said that basica...

Shurtape for Stair Treads

I love how this tape is sticking to the stair treads so far. It was a little tricky getting the backing off, but using a needle to start it off worked like a breeze! I just used it to install carpet treads on hardwood stair treads, so I'll see how long it lasts. It was a great deal for the money - 1.88 in x 75' was more than ample to do my twelve stair treads and two additional throw rugs at the top and bottom of the landings.

TAKES FINISH OFF FLOOR

Do not use this product it will hold your carpet down however it took all of the finish off of yhe floor where I put the tape. This will cost me thousands to have my floors refinished!!

Works good

This two-sided tape worked very well to keep mine on the rug in place all my carpet. Well I have to roll up the rug to sweet buns are at I will have to put new tape down, but it seems to work very well, keeping the rug in place

One year later

I tried another tape to hold carpet protectors on our wood stair treads and that did not work - at all. Tore the old stuff off and tried this instead with excellent results. It does a great job of holding the carpet treads in place and thereby protecting our wooden stair treads. It's been a year and they are still holding on well.

To peel the backing tape ...

Use a needle or small knife point to grab the backing paper at a corner. Pull back and the corner comes free. The rest of the backing paper then peels away easily. See my other review for the 1.41 inch wide tape.

I cannot recommend this

This stuff sticks, that can't be argued. Unfortunately the thing it sticks best to is its own backing paper. I purchased this tape, based on the good reviews, to tack down several carpet runners. I will never use it again. It sticks well to the carpet, it sticks well enough to the floor (I have a tile floor) but pulling the backing paper off the tape once one of the sticky sides has adhered to what's being stuck (In my case, either the carpet or the floor, I tried both ways) tried my patience in...
