So easy to move a washer and dryer with these

Great for compact, heavy items.

Easy to setup and use. Large thin items such as glass shower doors are more of a challenge but doable.

Lift with your knees!

I loved how easy it was to lift heavy items with just two people! My husband was able to transport a washer and dryer down two flights of stairs and the weight was really of no issue. My only concerns, especially with stairs, is that if one person goes down - you all go down. So please please please, use these straps reasonably. Luckily there were four of us total to keep the machines under control, but the thought did come across my mind several times.

Useful tool for moving day

These moving straps made it easy for two medium-sized women to move dressers and a china cabinet into and out of a moving truck. Definitely need to be able to squat down to adjust the strap, and lift a heavy load from your legs with a straight back.

I tried using these and watched a few videos about going downstairs and it was not a good experience the straps kept slipping and not staying tight. I may have been using it wrong but I tried

was not very awesome for moving things up stairs, compresses your spine a bit too much in the wrong way.

Requires balancing furniture on 1 strap

In theory this seem like a great idea, however in practice it needs a 2nd strap under the furniture to be safe. The harness works great, and if you are moving a small piece of furniture this will work fine. Once you try to move either a longer piece of furniture (sofa, love seat) or a taller piece (hutch, etc) it becomes difficult to balance the heavier furniture on the single strap. I suppose it is better than nothing for these larger pieces, but only marginally.
