Ratings & Reviews for Sharp 24-in 1.2-cu ft 950 -Watt Microwave Convection Drawer ( Stainless Steel )
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly report severe dissatisfaction, citing dangerously underpowered heating with wattage as low as 600-900W. Most note that basic tasks like heating food or popping popcorn take over 10 minutes, with kernels burning before completion. The advertised convection, air fry, and toasting functions are widely condemned as ineffective or nonfunctional—toasting requires six minutes for barely browned bread. Many express deep regret over the high cost, comparing it unfavorably to inexpensive countertop models that perform better. A small number report satisfaction using it as a secondary warming drawer, but this is vastly outweighed by warnings to avoid the purchase.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best things I have ever purchased. Works great. When all the grandkids around, works great with chicken nuggets and fries or heating up pasta etc.

Product slow in every mode, now completely broken
Would Not RecommendI was excited about the combination of a microwave, air fryer and toast option. Sadly, this purchase has been a dud from day one. All functions are so slow - probably double what they should take. Cannot even pop a bag of popcorn. The product is now completely broken. Strongly recommend against purchasing.

Great Features
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started to use this new 3 in 1 appliance. Just getting used to all of the capabilities and how to use. So far we loved the preheating and airfryer cooking of frozen chicken tenders.

Microwave performance
Would Not RecommendMicrowave function doesn’t heat as well as a regular microwave. Hard find instruction on fuctions. Air fryer doesn't work very well and the instructions on how to use is confusing.

Why is this so weak?
Would Not RecommendThis has to be the worst kitchen appliance we have ever bought. It takes forever to heat or cook anything. It is so slow. And it was so expensive! We have a countertop microwave that literally cost 1/10 the amount and works a thousand times better. We are wondering if we should hire a contractor to tear it out and just put in a sliding shelf to support a countertop microwave.

Very weak and too expensive
Would Not RecommendThe microwave is very weak and takes a long time to heat a plate of food. It’s too expensive for a weak microwave.

Great Appliance!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and so happy I did!

Overall happy as a second oven
Would RecommendI am happy with this purchase and use it more as a second oven than my main oven. I am just glad that my old microwave is off of my countertop. It's come in handy when I am using my actual wall oven and need to do more cooking on the side. Would recommend to others, especially as a second oven, not necessarily a primary oven.
Effectiveness
Would Not RecommendI have had this microwave for a couple of months. If you are considering buying this I would advise against it. It's awful. Doesn't cook as well as $150 microwave from walmart. Everything takes FOREVER. Even a bag of popcorn takes over 10 mins. It looks nice, but functions extremely poorly.
