Would Not RecommendLoved the idea of a drawer microwave. Unfortunately it does not perform well as a convection oven and the microwave is not as effective as other countertop models I have owned, Getting help from Sharp is difficult. I have had my oven 11 months and already there are problems and I am pessimistic about getting it fixed. Nice concept, bad implementation.

Great drawer!
The unit has many different cooking functions. The drawer was a worry for me, but it is flawless. It doesn't quite do microwaving as well as other units. It is a good balance of functions.

Love it being a drawer!
I really like my microwave being a drawer because it adds to the overall modern look of my kitchen. It also helps in keeping my kitchen appear cleaner by being below the counter in a drawer. The functionality and options available on my microwave are very impressive. I have a number of cooking options to choose from. I am very happy with my new microwave.

Still the Best!
My first sharp was in the 80's and we wore it out, 15 years later when we remodeled the kitchen it was stil going strong...I bought a house and they had one from the same vintage, still going strong. When I decided to remodel this kitchen, there was only one option to make if fit the kitchen, drawer, my sister has one, so I decided to do the same set up, Sharp. No way would I have gone this route if it wasn't a Sharp, no way!

Microwave convention doesn’t get hot enought
Would Not RecommendAlthough every microwave in America regardless of npmanufacturer is made by Sharp, this one was unique as it was a convection oven. As an architect who spec these appliance and installed it my own kitchen, the convection oven temperature barely gets to 300 degrees. The microwave doesn’t have a rotating table so it doesn’t heat food evenly and quickly. Did Sharp engineers ever test this? I highly recommend NT purchasing this unless Sharp comes up with a much higher wattage unit.

Microwave Only
The only function on this microwave drawer that works is the microwave. The air fryer and convection features do not even heat the food.

Would Not RecommendI bought this oven in Aug 2024. The display is very dim and I called the service center to open a claim. Then, when the repair person come and they said they left because they can't find a parking in my neighborhood. Then, I called and the service center found me another company. Neat Features - Need to Work out the Kinks
Would Not RecommendReally nice looking with a ton of neat features. Toast leaves a LOT to be desired - takes 6 minutes and bread/bagels are barely browned. Would be nice to actually toast quickly. Have not tried all of the features yet. Working with SHARP to investigate why the control panel is not opening smoothly.
