These sharkbite connections made updating my hot water heater a breeze. Easy to use and great results.

Easy water heater connection

About 4 weeks after I had shoulder surgery I noticed a leak on my electric water heater. Being a retired appliance installer, I did not want to hire someone to install a new tank, so off to Lowes I went. Very nice sales associates helped me load the tank and choose the sharkbite connectors and I couldn't be happier. Even with one arm "strapped to my side", I was able to successfully make the push on water connections.

Had a problem with copper flex, pin holed on the hot side, replaced with this no more problem.

Looks like a newer design so time will tell

I've used these before to connect two water heaters. They lasted about 5yrs before they started leaking between the nut and the braided hose. Not all of them have started leaking, just 2 of 4. They are extremely easy to use so I just replaced the leaking connectors with new ones. The new connectors seem to have a different design at the joint so I'm hoping they are able to last longer.

Makes it easy

I had never used a SharkBite connector before and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. I have bought more for other pluming jobs I have at home.

Amazing value and simplicity

I bought this line to replace a leaking copper pipe. Ridiculously easy to install. Cost about the same as replacement copper pipe, flux and solder.
