Would Not RecommendPictured is the valve and corrugated pipe connection which is made at the factory and not user serviceable or able to be tightened. My water heater notified me of a leak, thankfully. Product is approximately one year old.

LOWES SERVICE IN THEIR STORES ARE SLIPPING AWAY
UPON NOT ABLE TO FIND ANYONE TO HELP ANYONE IN AREA, THEY CALLED SOMEONE FROM ANOTHER DEPARTMENT, ENDED UP WITH WRONG PARTS HAD TO MAKE COUPLE TRIPS BACK WITH SAME RESULTS, NOT HAVING SOMEONE IN PLUMBING OR AREAS THAT NEED SOMEONE OF KNOWING PLUMBING IS NOT BEING A HELP TO NO ONE ! HAD TO TRAVEL TO HOME DEPO TO GET NEEDED PARTS AND INFORMATION TO DO REPAIR, TIME WAS ISSUE NOT HAVING WATER TO HOUSE WITH HANDICAP ELDER, AND LOOSING WATER FROM BUSTED PIPE.
