Ratings & Reviews for Seventh Generation Botanical Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner Lemongrass Citrus 26 oz Spray Bottle

Smells good. Cleans germs, not grease

I am reviewing Seventh Generation disinfecting spray I received for free through Seventh Generation's Generation Good Advocates community. I like the smell and the product seems to disinfect surfaces, although I have no real way to test if there are germs left behind after using it. I disliked that the product didn't clean as well as i thought it would, like on grease. I know it's not a multisurface cleaner but I'm not sure how many uses I would have for a disinfecting spray I need to wipe that ...

Just spray on, then wipe off...

I had a cleaning business for many years and learned that cleaners with natural ingredients should be used on kitchen countertops rather than ones with harsh chemicals. Seventh Generation multi-surface cleaner is my products of choice since it kills 99.99% of bacteria/viruses. Just spray on, then wipe off. It may be used on anything you would like to clean/disinfect. The lemongrass and thyme scent comes from essential oils that makes your kitchen or bathroom smell fresh without an over powering ...

Good product but not the smell

I like this cleaner can be used on countertops or food preparation surfaces, it makes me feel safe to use. Especially there are children in the house. However I can’t tell does it really kill the germs but so far it cleans surfaces pretty well. Also the scent is kind of strong and I’m not a fan of it. Wish it smelled better

The disinfecting multi-surface cleaner seems to clean areas of my house good. Spray on areas and wipe clean and for stubborn messes I leave for a few minutes then wipe clean. The thing that bugs me the most about the spray is the scent, it’s very overpowering and horrible, just cannot get used to it, so it’s hard to use.

An effective natural disinfectant

I received this product for free for the purpose of my honest review, as a member of Seventh Generation's Generation Good Advocates community. I use it on my kitchen and most importantly it does an excellent job of cleaning (very effective!). Smells great and works, so I would recommend this product

Amazing product!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I love this product! It took me a bit to get used to the scent, it’s different than most all purpose cleaners, but now I love it! It makes cleaning such a simple task! I also like that it’s safe to use on food contact surfaces. My favorite product!

All Natural But….

This product if I’m being honest is not as great as I expected. The scent is overwhelming and smells much like a hospital. Cleaning power was not good but to be fair we do have hard water so that may be why it didn’t do so well. Hopefully it disinfects

I love this all

I love this all purpose cleaner. I like that it’s also safe to use on food contact surfaces. I use it on my counters where I chop meat, fruits and vegetables, and it’s super effective! It took me a bit to get used to the scent because it’s different than most brands, but now I’m loving it!

cleans great

I love this cleaner and how safe it is because you can use it around kids and pets. It's great that it cleans 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, especially now with covid-19. It can be used to clean so many different surfaces so you really only need this one bottle instead of a bottle/cleaner for every surface in your home. It does a great job at cleaning too. It leaves you home and surfaces smelling fresh and clean without that chemical smell you smell in other cleaners. I like that they're an env...

Works great, but smells TERRIBLE

I received a full sized bottle of this multi-surface cleaner to try. Honestly, it works fine. I can’t test it’s antibacterial claims, but it cleans a surface leaving it shiny with no residue. But, it smells absolutely horrible. We received Lemongrass Citrus, but it smells like some spice. Maybe pepper? My daughter says it smells sour, and my daughters and myself all sneezed multiple times after I used it. Regardless of it’s function, the smell is such that I’ll be giving it away soon. Probab...

Multi Surface Cleaner

I love to keep my house clean, but I don't like harsh chemicals. Seventh Generation makes it easy to clean all of my countertops without worrying about breathing in unhealhy chemicals. This spray worked really well for tidying up my kitchen and bathroom areas. Cleans great and kills germs

Seventh Generation Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner is my new favorite cleaner. I love that this cleaner works to not only clean, but also to kill 99.99% of household germs, keeping my family safer from illness. The cleaner is effective while still being gentle on non-porous surfaces. I love it for both the bathroom and kitchen. It has a pleasant lemongrass-citrus scent. I'm recommending this to all my friends for a better, more natural way to clean. I received a free sample of this prod...

Good product

I liked this disinfecting multi-surface cleaner. It did a good job on cleaning my counters but the smell was overwhelming and lingered for a long time. I received this product for free for the purpose of my honest review, as a member of Seventh Generation's Generation Good Advocates community.

Love it

This is my new go-to all purpose cleaner. I wish it came in more scents! I have already switched my sister over to this brand and keep mentioning to my friends as well.

Good cleaner

I like how much dirt this will get off the kitchen floor when cleaning up messes. It also making cleaning up up cooked-on spots on the stove top pretty easy. Only thing I don't care for is the smell, it smells a little to chemically for me.

Works on Any Surface in Your House!

I received a free sample of Seventh Generation Multi-surface Cleaner in exchange for my honest review of the product. I thought after the holidays would be a great time to test the cleaner. I used it in my downstairs bathroom. I sprayed it on the toilet, around the toilet where it meets the floor, and on the counter surfaces. It appeared to be very effective in cleaning the grime around the edges. It claims to have a "light herbal lemongrass citrus oil scent." The scent was very subtle, and in n...

Great disinfecting spray

I received this disinfecting spray for free in exchange for my honest review. I love that this is a no rinse spray. I feel a lot better using this on surfaces like my son's high chair tray. It's great for cleaning the whole house. It smells really good too, not super strong.
