What Customers Are Saying
The screen rolling tool has mixed reviews. Some users found it easy to use and helpful for installing window screens, especially for first-time users. However, many were dissatisfied with the poor quality and performance, including the roller being too wide, the blade being ineffective or damaging the screen, and the overall cheap, flimsy construction. Several customers recommended getting a higher-quality metal tool instead.

Would Not RecommendRipped the new screen twice
For the right size
Would Not RecommendCutting tool is nice feature but doesnt slide along line very easy
Jut get it.
Would RecommendIt was very helpfull.
Not a good product.
Would Not RecommendThe wheel edges are too sharp. Tears the screen easily. Only reason why I purchased it was that there was no other option(at the store). Bring back the old school tools they worked great.(i couldn't find mine, so bought this)
Sharp blade
Hard to use but did the job
Built in hook knife.
Would RecommendUsed this to replace some screen in our windows. Worked great! Slide out hook blade worked fairly well, but ultimately my wife preferred using a straight utility blade.
This screening tool makes the screening job easy. My old screening tool did not have the cutting blade on the end and I used scissors to cut the screen. With this tool I can build screens in almost half the time as before.
Works but not as well as traditional rolling tool
Would Not RecommendThis rolling tool does not work as well as the traditional one with wooden handle and a metal roller on each end. The traditional style was out of stock at the Lowe’s store I visited. So I bought this one. The plastic roller is bulkier and not as easy to install the spline. But it worked well enough and having the screen cutter on the other end was convenient.
Roller is easy to use
Would RecommendRoller very easy to use. Use box cutter for trimming
Don’t waste your money
Would Not RecommendIt is way too cheap.
Great screening tool!
Would RecommendDid exactly what it advertises it does! Simple concept but effective tool!
Sent me a store reject
Would Not RecommendThe item and 1/2 of my total order arrived open, missing parts and possibly used. Is Lowes using their online Ording process to pass along their store rejects to customer??? Purchasing online did not save me a trip to the store to return their junk.
Waste of money
Would Not RecommendI echo many of the other negative reviews. The tool is supposed to work on all spline sizes, but don’t even think about it on splines of 0.160” or less. 0.175 might work, but I only tried it on the small diameter splines. The wheel is too thick and won’t fit in the screen groove, so it can’t push the spline down to the bottom of the groove. The double wheel tools that I have used before work much better. Unfortunately, this was the only one Lowes stocks in my local stores. Even if it works ...
