What Customers Are Saying
The screen rolling tool has mixed reviews. Some users found it easy to use and helpful for installing window screens, especially for first-time users. However, many were dissatisfied with the poor quality and performance, including the roller being too wide, the blade being ineffective or damaging the screen, and the overall cheap, flimsy construction. Several customers recommended getting a higher-quality metal tool instead.

Would RecommendI bought this as it was very sturdy, and made it easier to apply pressure to the spline. However, I think the end is a little thicker than the cheaper one I have and as such is not as easy to push the spline down. It also does not have a rounded end that is used to push the screen into the channel without damaging it. As a result, for me, it made positioning the spline easy, but the installation of the spline was actually better with my two ended cheap tool.

Tool did not work for intended use
Would Not RecommendI purchased this tool to replace the screen on a sliding screen door. Both the roller and razor end worked very poorly to fit the spline in place to secure the screen and then to cut off excess material. I ended up using other tools I had at home to complete the job. I would not purchase this tool again.

Effective screen tool. Comfortable size handle
Wasn't satisfied with the screen tool offerings at the other big box home center so tried Lowe's again. Lowe's did not let me down. This tool was a better design than others, and helped me get the job done. While it is made of plastic, it is durable enough to use, and includes a retractable hook knife blade screen cutter in the base when needed.

Roller Tool
Great tool, better than metal roller, wooden tools. You can add a lot more pressure with this one.

Terrible tool
Would Not RecommendThis is an extremely cheaply made tool that has problems with EVERY aspect of it. the roller is too thick to get the spline in after the initial roll. The hook shaped cutter is a joke. Dosent fold out properly and it comes our of its setting by simply opening it. Lowes needs to remove it from its inventory. Thank goodness they accepted the return. Do yourself a favor and just get the much less expensive double roller type.

Great product
Would RecommendI did one screen without it. Then bought this tool, the rest of my screens were done 3 times as fast and much tighter.
