What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the mulch for its vibrant, long-lasting color that dramatically enhances landscapes and flower beds. Many highlight easy spreading, consistent texture, and excellent value as key strengths, with reviewers noting the color remains rich for over a year. However, some report mold growth inside bags, coarse texture inconsistencies, and occasional color fading after rain. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it a worthwhile purchase and frequently repurchase based on appearance and affordability.

Garbage
Would Not RecommendBought some of this and it was absolute garbage. It was mostly lumber chunks way to big for flower beds. Huge disappointment. I threw it away.

My go-to Mulch
Would RecommendScott's is my mulch of choice, the color is second to none and it not only keeps weeds out it also locks in moisture for my plants and shrubs. It does not decompose and it us just the right texture to portray beauty in my landscape.

Quality downgrade over the last two years
Would Not RecommendI use Scott’s product every year but this will be my last year. Scott’s continue to downgrade the quality I’m sure to cut cost for improved profits. Product now has big pieces plus the color fades very quickly and looks old mulch.

Great purchase!
Would RecommendMy landscaper ordered 2 yards of park for our yard from his landscape supply company. He was short about 90 square feet so I bought this bark at Lowe’s. It’s a wonderful product. In fact, it looks and feels just like the bark that my landscaper bought at a wholesale supply store. Thank you, Lowes!
