New style key is a safety hazard
Would Not RecommendThe new style bent key is harder to use and prevents use of a coat hanger in an emergency. I think it is so they can sell the keys, but it is a safety hazard in my opinion, especially if you live with elderly or young children and have lost the key, you are stuck. Do not lose your key!

New design horrible unlock mechanism
Would Not RecommendThe Schlage Georgian privacy knobs have been my go-to knob for years, but the latest one I received has a new locking mechanism design. It took me half an hour to figure out the new design. I'm used to pushing the hole on the end with the "key" (just a metal stick). Now, you have to push and twist. Exact same model, new behavior. Installation - Design Flaw
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Screwing was extremely hard because the knob block the way of screwdriver. Basically I had to hold the screwdriver with an angle because knob blocks the way to screw it straight. It was extremely hard. I couldn’t believe such a design defect made by very well know lock company.
