bought 28 sonotubes and all delaminated and needed for a inspection to pour following day. forms got wet in trailer from 1 light rain and needed to get cut up to 24 to 30 inches from a 48" tube as the ends fell apart. sakrete customer service reaches out and tells me they cannot get wet- really! they go in the ground and hold concrete! your quality control in a lab needs to be held on a job site, WHERE IT COULD RAIN!!! purchased 28 sonotubes for a pole barn and sonotubes got wet on the trailer and delaminated from 1 light rain. I bought 28 if these and all of them fell apart before I put them in the ground. we had a light overnight rain and I woke up to seeing this! I have 500 dollars of junk and the building inspector that afternoon for inspection. i needed to cut the ends losing up to 16" and bracing the top of the tube in 2x material to keep it round. I am hoping a rep from lowes or sakrete sees this and reaches out to me. disgusting quality control.

It’s does the job just fine. If you are looking for above ground precision, don’t use these, as they are not all the same diameter. Great for fence and deck foundations.

Just what I need to wrap around a support for a deck and fill with concrete. I will have to be a little creative as I cannot remove the support. However, the tube will be easy to cut, install around the 4x4 support, retie with wire, and then fill with concrete. Looking forward to get it done.

Solid form used for deck footings

I used this tube form in my deck project. It provided excellent support during pouring and curing. It was pretty easy to work with. The result was strong footings, laying a solid foundation for my deck.
