Great Product, Unacceptable delivery if you order

Great Product, I've used this in the past when I renovated our home. Easy to work with and cut. I needed the 5.5" thick insulation. The only store that had it was 50 miles from me. If I want to order it, it was going to take 8 weeks, Unacceptable. So I drove to get it.

Rock Wool insulation available at Lowes

I am an engineer and I’ve been researching types of insulation. I’ve determined that Rock Wool is the best all around insulation if considering insulation value, environmental impacts, and global warming impacts. It has a better R value than fiberglass and way less environmental impacts than spray foam or foam board.

Rockwool batt

Easy to install. My opinion better than fiberglass as it doesn’t absorb water, will dry if wet and won’t harbor mold over time. Great product.

Awesome product!

Used Rockwood R-23 in our walls of our new home and spray foam on our roof deck, home is now 2 years old, and it has been great, easy to heat and cool, 2200 square foot home and 1500 square foot basement, avg light bill is $80-85 per month and house is super quiet inside. Would never use fiberglass in new construction when you have this as a choice. Our home is at 2600 ft elevation in th Blue Ridge Mountains.

Superior Insulation

I have installed quite a bit of Rockwool over the past several years. For this project I installed 8 batts of R-23 in the ceiling and floor and 4 batts of R-15 in the walls of a home addition for a customer. Rockwool is really easy to install and stays in place without any fasteners or specialty supports. Corp lack of response

Only partial delivery of product. Missing 2 bundles and no word about status on remaining order with multiple attempts to customer service that supposedly escalated response to corp that resulted in silence that left customer service and myself hanging. The product itself is great. I have installed hundreds of battens from another distributor but happen to be out this time and saw that Lowe's carry's it. If Lowe's fixes there website status to reflect shortages instead of saying delivered and ...

Not horrible to handle!

So much nicer than fiberglass! It is a little brittle and can occasionally tear under it's own weight, but it's otherwise very nice to work with.
