Would RecommendNeeding a Threshold for our added bathroom in our 107 yr old house this piece after cutting and beveling the edges worked like a charm. My only problem was I had to search through the stack to find one that the grains matched well since its made with multiple strips glued together.

Told me exactly what we were getting
Would RecommendThe Red Oak had very good color and excellent wood grains. Very solid sturdy boards. Dimensions were spot on. Cutting with mitre saw was easy and didnt "chip".

Great Qulity Red Oak Solid Wood Board
Would RecommendThis board is very sturdy and has good solid feel. The grain is good. I actually used this board to make a dual computer monitor riser with 4 footings purchased from a different store. After finishing it with sanding and clear coat painting, it looks really good.

very nice oak
Would RecommendI am redoing our steps to basement - out with the old carpet - these risers accept the finish quite well and require very little sanding between coats of finish

Nice piece of almost finished oak
Would RecommendI didn't use it as a stair riser, but it was the width and thickness that I was looking for. In my case I used a grey oil based stain, sanded it smooth and then applied a clear polyurethane.
