Would RecommendPerfectly straight, flawless,and surprisingly hard for pine -- I think it must be Ponderosa Pine, or what "back east" we called "yellow pine". Very glad I kept looking, because it's a lot easier to do a good job if you have good materials.

Would RecommendGreat moulding. We had a flood and to replace the moulding below our paneling to the floor. We needed something a little higher than normal to cover the dirt line from the previous moulding. This higher, taller moulding did the trick. We put a few coats of finish on an it looks great.
