OK, Here's "What I Think"

After several nagging emails from sweet Auntie Lowe, I will graciously provide a review, even though I didn't buy this. Hopefully this will end the sweetly-worded emails saying "don't forget to review" things I didn't buy. The molding looks like molding. When you hold it up to the light, it looks like molding. I gave some to the neighborhood termites who informed me that the white finish actually tastes like Gouda. But it's well-known that termites lie. I tried it and it tastes awful. And...

Not as described

I bought this on the item description of being 19/32 thick. It is NOT as described. It is truly 15/32. Hopefully you don't need the 19/32 material to do any repair work. I am now either going to have to find 19/32 material somewhere else or replace double what I was planning on with 15/32 material.

Huge impact

Love the bigger baseboards! Makes a huge difference in the look of my home.

These MDF primed moldings are better than you’d ex

These MDF primed moldings are better than you’d expect. The 60 board feet of moldings I purchased were easy to work with, straight and carefully primed. The topcoat went on smoothly.

Don't mix sizes

Bought both 8' and 12' versions to finish my basement project thinking they were just different lengths since they're listed on the same page. Halfway through the work I noticed that the patterns do not match. Now I have to rip out half of what I've done and start again.

Base Board

This product is easy to use and works really well in areas that are not around water. I installed in my bathroom because it's what was in the house so had to match but if it gets wet it will get water marked up.

Baseboards for a basement room.

Wood quality was fine for type of installation I had. No problems with quality of product and/or cutting to fit. Installed on wall with steel studs and had to use screws so I also used a bit do enable the screw he'd to be inset and just put filler over the screws. Sanded filler and baseboards look good and will be even better when basement is warm enough for me to paint.

Profiles don’t match

After half finished my project I realized some boards don’t match profiles even with the same sku number, I checked 3 different Lowe’s and had to sort through all the stock to find only some I needed to finish. With the number of damaged boards I had no choice buy them anyway Please check the profile on each board even if the have the same part number

Beautiful baseboards

These baseboards were installed in the foyer, dining room, and family room. Easy to work with, no splintering, and really nice-simple design.

Baseboard Moulding

Everything went great except there is a sticker that was put on the “Pained” part of moulding which leaves a sticky green mark that you have to remove. So actually your “Painted time saver” moulding has to be cleaned up and painted anyway all because of a sticker placement.

It's Baseboard!

Nice finish. I glued in place using a little construction adhesive just because I'm lazy and didn't feel like patching nail holes. Seemed to work out fine with a couple blobs of glue every couple of feet.
