What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mailbox for its sleek black design, durable powder-coated finish, and straightforward installation. Most highlight the classic appearance with embossed lettering that enhances curb appeal, rust-resistant coating, and simple three-screw mounting requiring only basic tools. Many appreciate the metal construction keeps mail dry and secure, with size ideal for standard and larger envelopes. Reviewers consistently call it excellent value for the price. A few note concerns about metal thickness or hinge quality, but these isolated issues do not diminish the strong overall satisfaction.

Would Not RecommendThis mailbox is cuter in photos than irl. It is rather flimsy and the lid does not stay open when pulling mail out of it so you need two hands free, which is not always the easiest thing for me. The cute raised letters say MAIL, so if you are looking for something that looks good, but may not last long, go for it.
PREMIUM LOOKING MAILBOX.
Would RecommendI MOUNTED THIS MAILBOX TO A BRICK EXTERIOR WALL. I GOOFED A LITTLE ON THE PLACEMENT OF IT, BUT OTHER THAN THAT AM HAPPY WITH HOW IT LOOKS. IT TOOK A WHILE TO DRILL INTO THE BRICK, SO I WILL LEAVE IT WHERE IT IS.

Box Mounting Challenge
Would RecommendAlthough the box seems to function ok, the provided instructions for mounting it on a wall (such as brick) are not very clear. The back face surface is offset from the box sides by about 1/2". A proper mounting configuration should include some type of board that fits within the offset recess, however no such recommendation was included.

Looks good -
I liked that the larger envelopes did not have to be folded or forced into my new mailbox. Many of the larger envelopes that were previously delivered were torn or contents bent.

Quality Mailbox
Would RecommendThis Reliabilt mailbox is made of galvanized steel with a durable, rust-resistant glossy black finish. It comes fully assembled of a good, sturdy construction and it was very easy to mount on the wall. The size is much larger than our last mailbox which is great because it holds magazine-sized envelopes with the lid closed. It looks nice and keeps our mail dry when it rains. The only down side that I can see is that the front has raised letters that spell “MAIL” on it which makes adding house nu...
