ODD DESCRIPTION

Product described as waterproof. Dictionary says WATERPROOF /wô′tər-proo͞f″, wŏt′ər-/ adjective Impervious to or unaffected by water. Yet the mfr. says "if spills are cleaned up promptly" Quick Step (owned by Mohawk) site say HDF (hi density fiber) core. When did HDF become impervious to water? Spill resistant is not waterproof like it says on the label and I think the courts in the US will have something to say about the claim "waterproof".

Restoration Oak was the perfect choice for a small update. I would definitely recommend this floor. It hit the mark with the look of reclaimed wood.

Plank Flooring Review

I went down real good. Easy to work with. It has a tough but forgiving material it is made out of. Every craftsman knows what that means. So, man up. Buy and install yourself to save your family much needed money.

Not Waterproof

I've had this in my home since 2020. We like it very much. I thought it was easy to install but, I've also done many, many floors sooo ... t however, is definitely NOT waterproof. The edges will begin to peel if subject to standing water (fridge leak, snow puddling from boots etc...) Keep that in mind and mop up standing water quickly you'll have it for a long time. This floor is so much prettier in person. My installer had trouble with glue on the some of the ends that had to be cut off but it went in perfectly. Couldn't find 1/4 round to match but found something close enough.

Fantastic Product.

Beautiful color and solid product

This product is very solid. I couldn't afford going with Pergo but I feel this will serve just as well. I only installed it a couple days ago in my bedroom, walk in closet and bathroom so I have yet to find out if it truly is water repellant in the bathroom. I LOVE the Restoration Oak color. It's so very warm feeling with a wonderful mixture of 5 or more different shades. It does show the dirt quite easily but then I know it's time to pull out the vacuum. I would definitely go with this color...
