What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the metal stringers for exceptional sturdiness and durability, consistently describing them as strong, heavy-duty, and superior to wooden alternatives. Many highlight the ease of installation, crediting pre-drilled holes and lightweight metal construction for simplifying the process. The sleek, modern design with clean lines earns appreciation for enhancing decks and porches. Some note missing connectors and recommend using number eight screws instead of number ten for composite treads. A few mention tight spaces require specialized tools. Despite minor assembly quirks and occasional missing hardware, most customers consider the product reliable and worth the investment.

Lowe's refund is delayed because the vendor will not respond about the missing package. 10 days since it was supposed to be delivered and we haven't received a refund or update. Buy another stair stringer or from another vendor/retailer.

The packaging is small enough sit in small car
Would RecommendThe product came fast and was extremely easy to put together. Overall the product appears to be built extremely well. We have over 300 lbs members climbing the steps and they don't even move or shake.
Heavy Duty and sturdy
Heady duty at the deck connection point but definitely need a solid base as well. Saved me time over building stringers.

Well made but missing parts
Would RecommendI got 6 five step segments to make two 15 step stringers and they only sent two brackets to connect the segments together. I needed four brackets. I called lowes to order the missing brackets hopefully they arrive soon
Finish trashed
Would Not RecommendOrdered these ship to store. Lowes wrapped three sides of the set with cardboard, leaving one side and both ends unprotected. Will need to repaint them, as the finish was trashed. As there is no other way to source these from Lowes besides shipping, I would not order again.
