Great at first use but afterwards difficult to roll

As with the other reviewer, the roller works great in first use. But after cleaning and drying the next day, the roller was extremely difficult to roll. OK, I must have not cleaned the roller well enough, but a roller should be easy to disassemble, to get it back to its "new" nice rolling performance. This roller is not easy to disassemble. 4 inch roller

I bought 2 of these rollers and they worked great the first time. I cleaned them as I would any other roller, soap and water, but when I went to use them for another project I could not get either one to roll smoothly.

Pure Garbage

The roller falls off the handle constantly. No way to secure it on and prevent it from falling. Roller frame flexes in the middle, so when painting, you are only able to paint on each end of the roller, leaving the middle portion unpainted. Bought a better roller and roller frame and threw this one in the trash where it belongs.

Roller kept flying off the handle!

I bought this recently to stain my deck, and the roller would not stay on the handle. It flew off every time I started to roll, which resulted in a really messy job and looked terrible when i was done. Since the roller flew off the handle every 5 minutes, I would have needed to purchase about 50 rollers just to complete the deck because it landed in the dirt... Every single time. I would recommend looking for a standard roller that has a bit more of a lock onto the handle. This had no locking...

Just the right tool!

I painted the fuel oil tank in my basement using this. The 6" width was a good size for this, and the 1" diameter allowed me to reach down behind the tank to paint it between the wall and the tank. I used an enamel paint, and this gave a smooth finish and did a great job covering the metal tank. Perfect size for this job!

Outstanding performer

Just love the smaller sized roller. I watched a professional do our kitchen and was asking a million well a few questions about how a pro does it. He has been painting for over 30 years so I felt he would be the right person to get the right answers from. He was using this very roller frame and never used anything larger.
