Painting for years no problem ...this left lint !

Worst roller cover I ever used, left lint in wet paint which I had to pick off wall as I painted.... very frustrating and time consuming!

Smooth finish

When I first started painting I was skeptical -- it looked like the same old orange skin finish. It also splattered a bit. Once the paint dried I was wowed. Smooth as silk.

Best Cover Ever

I use this roller for all my wall work. It works great with all paints especially higher quality products like Sherwin's Emerald and Duration. Just wet and spin out or dry with the 5 in 1 and its ready to go. It helps paint be absorbed right down to the core, so less time priming the cover and gets rid of the lint. A little disappointed

Overall, very pleased with the Purdy rollers. There were times when very fine filaments or fiber came off the roller onto the painted surface. I guess my expectations are really high when buying the Purdy brand. Like I said, overall very good!

Not Smooth

This "ultra smooth" roller leaves the most undesirable textured look. I've painted plenty of times and know rollers almost always leave texture, but this one is by far my least favorite. I do not recommend.

lint

These rollers left TONS of lint in the paint applied to my ceiling. After i had to get a washcloth and wipe all the paint up, i touched the roller and could easily pull chunks of thr nap out like cotton candy. Very disappointing!!! Starting my project with tbis roller wasted a good amount of my expensive paint.

specks in paint

these purdy ultra finish professional 3/8 nap ultral smooth finish for smooth surfaces roller covers left fiber specks in my 45$ a gallon paint so buy something else both the paint and these covers were puchased yesterday and were both brand new it was the roller cover not the paint you are paying top dollar for these and getting JUNK Lowes ought to ashamed of themselves for selling these

Lint, lint and more lint

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing these roller covers. Like many of the others, my project is now covered in lint and will need to be re-sanded and repainted. Very frustrating and disappointing. I thought Purdy sold better quality items. I was wrong.

Lint Everywhere!

This roller cover is a waste of money. Lint everywhere. It comes out in chunks. Far from "ultra smooth finish". Will be returning.

Nice Finish

Used a foam roller on my woodwork and didnt like it so i tried these. Held paint better and left a nice (not ultra smooth) smooth finish that i really liked. Will buy more to do future projects.

Paint Roller Cover

the short nap of the paint roller covers were just what I needed for a fine finish with latex wall paint. The short nap provided less paint flecking on non-painted surfaces, good coverage, and easy cleanup.

Lint nightmare!

I thought I was getting the Purdy-White Dove which specifies Lint Free on package and that I had good experience with. This one does not specify Lint Free on package. When I started painting the wall with a good quality latex paint, I immediately saw large pieces of lint and/or chunks of the fiber came off and stuck in the paint. Had to stop the painting and threw out this brush. Garbage.

Paint goes further!

I tried these because I hoped that the paint might roll on smoother. I want to paint some kitchen cabinets in the future and thought I would see how these did on a current project. I was painting a 11 5x11.5 bedroom. I was able to completely paint the room with one tray of paint!less really cause I had to put some back in the can.. applies very smoothly and well. very happy

SO GOOD

Worth the extra 1-2$ for a clean finish. no fluff rubs off and you can rinse them out if you prefer. I <3 Purdy.
