Would RecommendI am impressed by the design of this Project Source floating pool thermometer. A product so simple, yet it still exudes elegance, novelty, and functionality. I tossed it into the hot tub, it floats horizontally for a few seconds, then, hey!, it tips vertically and now bobs around the pool. It is minimal size and does not intrude on the pool serenity. Just pick it up to see the pool or hot tub temperature. Go get one, its almost pool season!

Would Not RecommendFloats, gives accurate temps, and cheap. However, after several months the small metal clips that hold the glass thermometer in place corrode and rust, and the glass thermometer eventually falls off inside the plastic tubing rendering it useless. Then you are stuck with harzardous waste, and the mercury inside cannot be thrown into the trash. All this could easily be easily remedied by gluing the glass thermo tube to the plastic scale with water resistant glue instead of relying on metal clip...
