What Customers Are Saying
The light mounts received mixed reviews. Many customers found the mounts to be of good quality, easy to install, and a great value. However, some reported issues with the fit, as the mounts were either too small or too large for the posts. There were also complaints about the materials, with some stating the mounts were made of cheap, flimsy plastic instead of the advertised aluminum. The overall sentiment suggests the mounts can be a good product when the fit and materials meet expectations, but there are quality control concerns that need to be addressed.

Would RecommendMy previous lamp broke due to the weather and I reaplced the lamp and post base at the same time. Great product for the value.

Do not purchase anything without opening the box.
Would Not RecommendThis light base WHICH IS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO ON THE BOX, was NOT in the box. The electrician whom I hired could not install the light. He will need (at additional expense) to return to install my light. The light base which was NOT in the box, had to be ordered separately. When I the package containing the light bases, arrived it was a cheaply made plastic (made in China) AND the package didn’t contain the screws needed to install this cheap piece of junk. I am truly disappointed with Lowe’s sin...
Did not contain mounting screws !

Doesn't fit
Would Not RecommendI was so excited to get this home and set up with the RECOMMENDED POST and they don't fit together. It says it will fit standard 3" posts... welllll one of them is lying. The post and the base are exactly the same size. I will give the base props only for the fact that is seems pretty well made because despite my best bang-it-with-a-hammer efforts to make it fit, it wouldn't budge.
Light mount adapter
Would RecommendI felt really lucky to find this light adapter which will allow me to install my lights on my larger posts.
