What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise these foam brushes for delivering smooth, brush-mark-free finishes on stain, polyurethane, and sealers, with many highlighting their affordability and convenience as disposable tools. Most find them ideal for one-time projects and touch-ups, appreciating the even product spread and minimal cleanup. However, a notable group reports the foam separating from the handle during use, particularly under pressure. Despite this durability concern, many accept it as a trade-off for the low price, and overall customers consider them effective for their intended purpose.

Worth every penny! Durable! Ill only buy lowe’s foam brushes from now on!
Good thing I bought a bunch of them
Would Not RecommendSnaps with even the slightest pressure. Even when trying my hardest not to put any pressure on it they still snapped. So I spent about $6 on 4-5 of these could have bought 2 of the better ones. Live and learn.
Very poor construction
Would Not RecommendI just used two of these to spread counter-top contact adhesive to apply laminate. Both handles broke off after just a few minutes of use and I had to grip the foam portion by hand. I sincerely hope Lowes product sourcing management reads these messages and makes the necessary quality demands of their global suppliers. Consumers understand some products are just cheapo one time use, and that's OK. But when a product does not even perform to an absolute minimum level, it is a real bummer.
great brush!
Would RecommendThese brushes are the best I've ever used. Straight lines are a cinch with these!
I used this item for less than 19 minutes and the handle broke.
Great single use brush
Would RecommendI buy bunches of these to apply oil based polyurethane finish. Great to use and throw away.
Never again
Would Not RecommendI bought 4 of these and the handles broke off of three of them before the job was done(Staining some cedar fence boards). Have used them before with wooden handles and never had a problem but the plastic handles didn't take any pressure at all to snap off in 50 degree weather
get what you pay for
Would RecommendAt around a $1.00 a piece, you can't complain about the quality, they work to do what you need, just buy multiple because they are fragile and break easily.
Cheap product by far.
Would Not RecommendThis product you get what you pay for! The handle broke off the sponge. Also the sponge started to fall apart not long after use. Get several of these for a large project.
Sponge detaches from single anchor peg quickly
Would Not RecommendIf you use it for more than 15-20 minutes be prepared to toss it and start with another one. If the sponge hasn't fallen off into the paint or tray, it's going to shortly.
Poor product
Would Not RecommendThe handles on these brushes snap with even slight pressure I do not recommend them
A piece of junk
Would Not RecommendBuy a real brush and don't waste your money on one of these.
These are okay for limited, touch-up use
Would RecommendI used three of these to apply Restore deck coating to the crevices between boards on a 10x12 deck. By the time I was done, all three were falling apart at the tip. Granted, I was applying heavier product to a rough surface, so I expected deterioration in the foam, but had the interior plastic structure been lined with something to prevent it from poking through the foam, I believe the foam wouldn't have failed as quickly. I also noticed the plastic edges closest to my hands had some sharp edges...
better than most
Would RecommendI've got multi packs before and they have all broken these haven't and I used these more than once in the same day.
Painting Summer
Would Not RecommendPoor quality, breaks easily. I could only use it as a sponge to paint the table. It was a good sponge (sic)
