1/2 of the fixture went out on 2 of these.

I bought 2 of these. Both of them suffered failures on 1 outlet. Took the fixtures down and confirmed zero continuity on the hot (black) sides of each fixture. These were not subjected to weather or any other abuse so I’m not sure what cause the outage. I’m disappointed and will not be putchasing Portfolio brand light fixtures again.

From a Very Picky Shopper - This one is a winner!

I just completed a remodel of my kitchen, and when I tell you I must have purchased and returned 20 lights for over my kitchen sink, I'm not kidding! But this light fixture is perfect! It is advertised as "outdoor" lighting but is completely suitable for indoor. It is just the right size and provides the right amount of ambience with the 60 watt Edison lights that I purchased separately. I'm not a fan of LED lights, so my fixture is now complete with incandescent ones. Love it!

Purchased light fixture for my front porch. It looks nice and gives off alot of light. It was a good price as well. I would say this was a good buy.

Beautiful fixture, design flaw

We purchased this back in September 2020, and it looked great on our front porch. There were no issues until the first time a bulb needed replacement. The screws that attach the fixture to the ceiling are too short. My husband was able to jerry-rig it the first time it happened, but this time was a no-go. Currently the bulbs are exposed as he has been unable to figure out a remedy. This design flaw needs to be fixed.

Very pleased with this product.. Easily installed.. Appears as pictured... Looks much more elegant than the materials might expect. Classy.

Junk

Don’t buy it was broken when I opened box returned it back to store. Customer service sucked will not shop at Lowe’s ever again.

Beautiful well made but with one caveat...

The light doesn't feel cheap and is well made and beautiful...but the darn two screws on the side that attaches the cover to the base are soooo short that this part of the design HAD to be by an intern. If you have large hands the install job WILL take longer because of it. How about extending the treads Portfolio. Love your products though.

Nice Light / Great Value

This is a very nice light for the front door. There were no instructions in my box, but I was able to find them online on Lowes website. Installing the light took me about 20 mins. You simply need to connect a base plate, then connect 3 wires (black, white, grounding wire). Pretty straight forward! I put 2 LED 40 watt light bulbs in. It's a nice amount of light. You can put up to 2 60 watt light bulbs in if you like, but I didn't need that much light. When the bulbs need replacing, you'l...

The ONLY thing not to like about these lights are the stud/nut that holds the globe onto the base. They're small, and no tool interface. You must put them in by hand, luckily, they're knurled, so tightening them with a pair of pliers is easy, but they'd be SO MUCH BETTER if they were slotted. Would not take away from the look, and make installation far easier for us guys with fat fingers! Combined with the LED "Vintage" bulbs, they give a wonderful, warm, very welcoming light.

Replacing lights

The lights go great with the new paint on the house (we also purchased from Lowe's) and I couldn't be happier with them.

We replaced an old porch light with this one. It installed as easily as installing light fixtures goes. It was packaged nicely, no problems with missing parts, etc. It looks beautiful. I also purchased 2 of the matching lanterns for my home and those are also beautiful.
