Quiet

I've used several different underlayers when installing laminate flooring and I would rate this as better than average. For the price it is as good as you'll get. It is quieter than the cheapest and doesn't cost much more. I feel like it will allow for the laminate to last longer since it appears to be more durable than the cheaper underlayment.

Good, for the price you pay

I hate to overpay for something that you're never going to see and which tends to get overpriced by the flooring industry. Underlayment is like that. You can pay big bucks for something that is more than you really need. This product is basic, like most Project Source products. It will provide minimal cushioning and moisture control, but most times that's all you really need, especially if your flooring has a pre-installed backing. The product was very durable and easy to lay for my husband I would refer this product to friends and family and would purchase if need be, came with easy to follow instructions

Thin but effective

This is proof of how far engineering has come, this Underlayment is thin but delivers all that is required, sound deadening attribute, moisture barrier. And a built in lip to make taping easy. This only install on way. Very durable and easy to handle.

Great padding under LVP flooring

I used this under my LVP flooring even though the LVP had an attached pad. This was going over a concrete floor on our house as it is on a slab….we wanted a little extra padding with it being over the concrete. This padding goes down well and flat and you can definitely tell the difference with and without. I have one small room without the padding and I’m going to go back and pull up the flooring to put this padding under it as well. Works very well for the money! Highly recommended!!

Great underlayment for LVP

Was looking for a moisture resistant and quiet underlayment for LVP and this fit the bill nicely. Good price and easy to install. Nice overlap with a tab style too.

Good product

Used this under the vinyl plank flooring even though it was needed. Just added an extra layer of protection. Would prefer it to stick to self at the seams but was able to do a work around.

Absolutely love it!

If you're putting in flooring or carpet and are doing it to ease a bad back this is perfect! Also absorbs alot of sound (I have 2 dogs) and definitely noticed the difference would highly recommend

Project Source 100-sq ft Standard 2-mm Flooring Underlayment is a foam Underlayment for laminate or wood floor. We used on a wood floor. It is very simple to install and lightweight. It is a 2mm polyethylene foam laminated with a vapor barrier. It is a quality product and very easy to remove the film and spadhere to your sub floor. It’s not fancy but does the job at a great price.

I selected this vinyl underlayment online. The rolls were larger than expected. That is definitely a plus. more than floor enderlament

this underlayment is dense. i can see where it would stay in place when laying down your laminate floors. i do believe it would make the floor more noise proof. i can think of other uses for it also such as padding on the floor in a work shop or the deck of a boat for more cushion on the feet. its 1 mm, each roll is grey with 100 sq ft per roll

Ok, laid down easily enough, still have to do 2 bedrooms, lol. Always a plus when it has a self stick tape area as shown in pic. Just wish this stuff was cheaper.

Good product

This underlayment is made of durable material and was very easy to use in the area I needed it for. Easy to cut and very easy to use with the recommended flooring or any other flooring material. I’m also planning on using this material in another non-flooring application soon, very good product and it is reasonably priced. Very satisfied
