What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this underlayment for its straightforward installation, effective sound dampening, and excellent value. The peel-and-stick adhesive strips, lightweight design, and self-adhesive edges make laying it simple and precise. Many report significant noise reduction from footsteps and pets, with a noticeably softer, more comfortable walking experience. Users consistently rate it as superior to cheaper foam alternatives and more expensive brands, appreciating the built-in vapor barrier and versatility. A few mention minor issues like unclear instructions or imperfect initial flatness, but most consider it reliable and worthwhile.

High but worth it
Thought it was nice for keeping floor dry

If it isn’t smooth to start with, don’t bother.
The first roll was ok. A little warped but usable. The second roll was so warped it had waves and caused the seams to overlap. I thought it might flatten out as I laid it down but it was a nightmare. I should have just taken it back but after spending hours cutting and placing it, I was not in the mood. I’m sure it will cause problems long term but this whole project has been a nightmare. Never again!!

Worked Well
Would RecommendThis worked well under the laminate but unfortunately the laminate was defective and had to be returned so this roll that was cut up for under the flooring was wasted. Otherwise it did work well.
