Would RecommendDefinitely gives a textured finish. Used it with the wall & ceiling texture material. To match the old plaster, I had to sand down the high points but the roller made the work go faster.

This brush is awesome. I used this to do a faux finish on my dining room wall and it came out amazing. Only down fall is splashing of paint from the brush you have to be careful when rolling.
