Would RecommendAs a DIYer this kit is needed to do a proper installation! However I used a claw hammer with the jig to snap the lengths together. The rubber hammer is good to use to flatten the seams. Makes it easier to install. Extremely important to make the first two rows are parallel with the starting wall.
