My shelving project needed two 30" lengths on the wall, and I can report these sawed easily and cleanly using a vise and a 40 tooth blade. A quick pass with a file cleaned them up nicely.

Blue Hawk white shelf upright wall standards

Love this shelf system, just a bad situation when I am not able to get everything I need for my project, hang track for mounting the standards seems to be un available, makes things a lot harder to have a finished looking end result, other size bracket are in short supply and no way to get them ordered, very disappointing.
