Would RecommendNice straps with a good amount of strength and stretch. I think the hooks will hold up. They seem strong enough. I like that they don't mark up my rack that I hook them to. I also like the flat type of bungee strap rather than the round kind.

I use these to hold a winter car cover tightly against a car to protect against the winter weather.
