Cheap, ruined my project

Bought the 18 20lb item (item 03266420) to hang a window shade. The threads did were not properly fitted for the metal casing that expands behind the drywall and therefore the backing only partially expanded and the threads did not lock in so the piece they were intended to hold fell.

Worked well in ceiling drywall.

About half break during installation

About half of these fail during installation - the nut seems to separate from its mechanical crimp. Then it is useless. Much higher failure rate than other brands. Please redesign these.

Poor Quality

These broke easily. I only needed 2, but had to use all 4 from the pack because 2 of them broke.

Don't waste your money

These devices don't work. They just tear up the wallboard. The anchor part of these devices should collapse easily, but the metal doesn't bend. The cleats that stick into the wallboard are supposed to fix the device and when the screw is turned, the metal anchor should bend inside the wall. Because the metal will not bend, the cleats turn cutting a huge hole in the wallboard.

To cheap made the threads tear out, may be ok on something thin but not on something 2” as the package says !

Total junk.

Installed two anchors and they both fell apart upon hand tightening which is the metal body is so cheap it twisted and strips the screw. As you hand tighten it it should get tighter and then you stop. However, you don't realize you have to stop because the screw keeps turning easy that also means that whatever you secure an object to it it will not be tightly screwed to the wall.
