I prefer the 1/8-in x 3-in Toggle Bolts to fasten objects on the walls because they hold better and can take a lot more weight than the push in plastic fasteners. I put some towel racks up in my master bedroom using the fasteners that came with the towel racks and after 1 year they fell out and left a hole big enough to use the 1/8-in toggle bolts. Worked Great

Had to install a 2x4 to wall where here was no stud near by and these worked great.

They work great, and are really tough.

These were my first experience with toggle bolts, and I love them. Replaced many of the pathetic plastic wall anchors with these. For things like.. coat racks, bathroom towel hangers, etc.. they are solid and the best option I've seen. Just make sure what you are mounting will cover up the small insertion hole you need to drill first.

Great for hanging things from drywall

Normally light figures come with their own drywall screws. However, the screws typically do not work that well. We purchased these to use in place of those that came with the fixture. These worked GREAT and gave us a SOLID attachment to the ceiling!

Used them and several other sizes

I am a handyman so I use toggle bolts all of the time. The item I use them on the most is grab bars in bathroom showers and near the toilet.

Did the job but not easy

While the 'mollys' did what they needed to, I had a bit of a problem getting the folded 'wings' through the 3/8ths inch hole I had drilled. I did not notice anything on the package as to hole size needed. It it was there it was not plainly noticed. Otherwise they were ok.
