It did the job. Used it on the mounting bracket for a fire extinguisher. The hole ends up being a bit bigger than expected, so make sure whatever you are mounting is covered. Also make sure you center all the holes, if you put one in, let it drop (due to the larger size hole), then drill, the rest of them will just "hang."
