Would RecommendThis is better than any drywall anchor. It will hold without entirely killing the wall. And it won’t squeeze so tight it comes through and collapses on itself either. If you need a sturdy way to hang on dry wall-this is it. And cheap. Easy.

Does not fit 3/8 hole
Would Not RecommendLike others have said, this does NOT fit in the 3/8 hole that the package instructs you to make. The pin that keeps the wings together is too long. Very inconvenient.

Would RecommendI'm not sure why these are getting bad reviews. These toggle bolts work as advertised. The only way to break them, as always, is by over-tightening the screws. Use a little common sense and they will be just fine.
BEWARE: Too big for the recommended hole
Would Not RecommendThe instructions say 3/8 hole. The pins on most (of my set of 16) were bigger: 7/16 long. After I relieved the 3/8 hole on opposite sides for the too long pin, I found only one in the 6 or 7 I tried would fit through a 3/8 hole with their wings folded back (they were still bigger than 3/8), so I had to enlarge the 3/8 hole further by rocking my drill back and forth. The pin that the arms rotate on projects too far and will not go through the recommended hole size without filing. The product works, but I'd be willing to pay for better quality and a more robust design.
