What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these lag screws for exceptional holding strength and reliable performance in demanding wood projects. Reviewers consistently highlight superior grip in heavy-duty applications like securing 4x4s and mounting heavy items, with the large head design eliminating washer needs. The Torx drive system prevents stripping and cam-out, making installation smooth with an impact driver. Most note that pre-drilling pilot holes in hardwood ensures success, and proper tools are essential. A few experienced minor issues, but the vast majority consider these screws highly dependable and worth the investment.

Gets the job done easily

Would Recommend

These screws are so much easier to use than traditional lags. No predrilling, just throw on the end of an impact and go. They are good quality steel and have an easy, no slip star head. Saved me a lot of time when building deck and stairs.

Perfect for my project

Would Recommend

I needed a way to secure the base of my gazebo to my deck. Since there would be no way to get under the deck and use a nut, this was recommended. It also saved the step of drilling a hole first as the screw is self-tapping. Worked great!

Used instead of 1way's

Would Recommend

Do not recommend 1way security lags...I know its a matter of security but these are easier to install and can be removed if need be, but need power tools and makes crazy noise, and lets face it if people show up w/power tools to rob your house then they gonna get what they came for.

Excellent for use as a Tent Peg

Would Recommend

This product is used by me most often as a tent peg or to hold down something in the ground. During this past winter while in Florida, we had a wind gust of 86 mph and a hanging plant stand did not fall over when being held down by three of these screws. Ofcourse, this is not what they are designed for, but they also work great for screwing large timbers together, after you have predrilled the holes for them.

GARAGE CONSTRUCTION REINFORCEMENT

Would Recommend

This Lag Screw and the others work perfect for my project to re-support my Garage and replace sagging beams. I am now able to use Advanced Framing techniques to build most of the interior and supports. Definitely a value over purchasing Truss screws and components from other manufacturers.

Best Lag Bolt I Ever Used

Would Recommend

A little expensive, but worth every penny. I used 4 of these to hang an articulating television wall mount. The TV (50 inch Hitachi plasma) weighs 117 pounds, and I really didn't want it to take a big crash. I had to go through 2 inches of wallboard and furring strips before I hit the studs, so the length of these was perfect as I wanted as much penetration into the studs without going all the way through. These things are the best thing since sliced bread...screwed into studs very easily with a...

Absolutely great lag screw...

Would Recommend

This is one of the best lag screws on the market. Very easy to use, and will pull treated lumber up tight without just pulling through the wood. Also I haven't had one strip like lags sometimes do.

Worlds Toughest Lag Bolt

Would Recommend

I used these lag bolts to bolt 2x4s to my garage wall to build wooden shelves. They powered through the studs with ease and the benefit of these having Torx heads mean that I was able to power these into the wall with ease. In the end, I was able to have over 1000lbs of load on my shelves with a few hundred pound of load to spare. The finish also ensures they will not rust. This lag is worth every penny.

good use in hard wood

Would Recommend

Works very well when lagging hard dense wood to poles. Drills itself and seats very well. must use a 1/2 inch drill with plenty of torque. used this while lagging oak to pressure treaded poles in a post construction barn

quick driving lags

Would Recommend

I have used these to attach wheels to several structures used in plays. They are inexpensive, quick to drive in with a drill, have a large diameter head with low profile and grip the wood very well. They are nice because the heads no not need a washer and do not interfere with the swiveling wheels. Wrongski
