Disappointing and Useless
Would Not Recommend0 stars. I was attaching 3/4 plywood to inside of 14 gauge steel tube frame. These screws were useless to me. With the wings they made the hole to large for the threads. Therfore I could just pull the screw out and push it right back in. I think they would have worked better without the wings.

Wings make screw useless.
Would Not RecommendI would give this 0 stars if that were an option. The first I tried, the wings did not break off (if that is what they are supposed to do) and drilled the hole too large for the threads to take hold. I am NOT going to keep trying them and end up with a bunch of useless holes. Not to mention, the self tapping part took "forever" to get through 3/32 stock.

Strong screws for Trex to steel framing.
Would RecommendUsed these to attach Trex to steel tubing of a raft trailer. They did the job perfectly. A little extra spin to get them through the steel and if you push too hard it can strip, but they have held really well even after several long roadtrips too. Pretty meaty fasteners but I have to say they've been fantastic so far.

Would Not Recommendthese dull and will not cut thru angle iron you may get 1 out of 6 to work right . They will work better if you pre drill the holes. over all these are junk

Would RecommendThey are a heavy duty screw that is self tapping. They are ideal for replacing or repairing trailer deck boards. With the star drive the don’t strip when installing and they countersink into the boards to avoid snagging items on your trailer floor.
