Tabs did not break away half the time oversizing hole in metal so threads would not hold. Now i have a bunch of holes in trailer floor and joists

Only one of the wings break off, resulting in the hole being wider than the screw. Had to pre-drill holes and use regular metal screws to attach wood to metal building frame.

Quality Screws
The star pattern screws are a must and have always been a staple in my hardware box. The self tapping came in handy when hanging a new range hood and allowed for me to go straight into drilling without having to pre drill. I've never had any of these snap or break and the sizes are great.
