Sturdy with easy setup

Product was exactly as advertised. It is a sturdy base that attaches easily to post.

Good simple mailbox post. I had read the reviews and made the 4 x 4 post longer. The support for the mailbox says it can be used with a large mailbox but the spacers are not long enough so I had to secure with screws from inside the mailbox down through the support.

Nice- But won't stand up against a snow plow blast

This was a nice attractive and in-expensive post to replace my previous plastic one piece mailbox/post cover. The base fit easily over the 4x4 from the previous installation. I used 3" decking screws to fasten it to the 4x4 and it felt very secure. The top was too long for my new metal parcel mailbox, but that was easily remedied with a intervening layer of 1x12 shelving wood bolted in between. Stately post!

I saw this mailbox post in a neighborhood I was passing through and thought that it was nice and stately. I said that whenever I buy a house I'll get one too, and I did! I'll post a picture when I get my yard up to par!

no thin metal parts to rust from exposure to road salt from the snowplow.

Good quick fix

Bought this to go over broken mailbox pole thanks to the neighbors boy. Pole was cemented in so we bought this to just slip over. Worked beautifully. Easy to install and like that it isn't like everyone else green and taupe plastic mailboxes

Excellent product

Wonderful product everything went as planned easy installation love the fact that it is maintenance free. Placed next to a row of other mailboxes. That's been truly stands out.

Replacement Mailbox

Turned out pretty well. I used 6 ft post,concreted 14 inches, post is running to the top of the inside after cutting post to height. Very secure. Better than I expected.

Easy installation

This looks great in front of my house. I was able to use the old post and this slid right over the top of it. I used the Hampton plastic black mailbox on top of it and together they look great. Very clean looking and an easy installation for more curb appeal.
