Wiggle! Wobble!

I don't understand all the positive reviews. Are people okay with their mail box wiggling around when they open and close it? I'm not! Using the supplied screws in the marked locations, the mailbox wiggles and wobbles at every connection point except the base where it screws to the 4x4. The plastic is way too soft. I can only imagine how flexible it will be in the summer heat. It's warrantied for 10 years but I'll be very suppressed if it last a year. I'll have to do some major modifications to ...

easy to install and improves look of ordinary post

I had to shave the post a bit because it was exactly 4x4 but once it was shaved enough to slide the post cover over the wood post it took another 10 minutes to finish the task.

Surprisingly nice

The top part of our mailbox post the part the mailbox sits on fell apart so had to make an emergency run to Lowes to get a new one. Since the base of the post was a 4x4 I wanted one I can slip over and this worked out great. The only thing is that the holes under our existing mailbox didnt line up with the part you connect it too so we drilled our own holes and it worked perfect after that which is why I gave 4 stars.

Easy to install

Old mail post had faded and I chose this one to replace it with. Post is sturdy and I simply removed the screws from the old one, popped this one on and secured it with the screws provided. Neighbor stopped to tell me how nice it looked.

Mailbox mounting kit

Easy to assemble. Did not realize that it did come with box mounting hardware and bought a mounting kit as well. It is not needed.

Mailbox got a new stand..!!!

The mailbox was hanging by zip ties due to inconsiderate tenants. Was warned by the postal workers and had to replace. Great purchase.

Great post for the price

This post is an easy install over a broken wood post. If any of the old wood post is protruding all you do is slip this over and secure with 4 screws and your mail box is back in business. Can't beat it for the price.

We needed a new mailbox post due to our current one looking old and dated. This new post was the perfect fit. Simple yet classic, I’m super pleased with my purchase.

Eazy Pezy

This was a easily installed replacement for the broken wood post. Easily slid over the broken 4x4 post and with just 4 screws needed to secure to the post I was done. The package was 2 screws short which was a bummer but were easily aquired in the Lowes hardware department. Looks good and since its made of plastic when the next car hits it, it will break free keeping my wood post intact ready for another similar post to be installed.
