Cordless Drill

Should have bought one years ago. Haven’t put it through the paces yet but seems to be powerful but not heavy/bulky.

Great drill for price

I'm an electrician, I drill through laminated top plates, studs ect. and plenty of power if it bogs down on the high RPM switch to first gear and powers through. Recommend upgrading to 4.0 mah batteries because you will go through them.

Not as advertised

Advertised as a drill/driver kit. Drill works fine...driver does not work as expected. Will take it back and exchange for impact driver.

Great for home use.

One of the best buys I have made. It has worked flawlessly and with having two batteries I never have to wait for one to charge. I use it with Kreg jig joints and setting the dial at 8 I never strip out screws in soft wood. I would recommend this product.

Strong control

Am the owner of several Porter-Cable tools and all work well, am very impressed with the power and control of this drill motor .

Home use

This is a great drill for home use. So far I’d say it exceeded what I expected at the price.

Supposed to come with soft case but it did not. That’s the only issue I have with it.

Stay Away

I got this drill with two batteries, a bag, and charger and it was a really good deal. I quickly noticed that there were a couple of things going on with it. When I would be drilling a hole it would constantly slip, even with it in drill mode. I thought I might have gotten a bad one so I replaced it with another one off the shelf. This one ended up doing the exact same thing a couple months later. The closest service center is over 80 miles away and too far to drive to get a drill replaced. I'm ...

This is a high torque cordless driver and is light weight.

Good power, battery life good

Used to put screws in large fence, took about 2 hours, 5 lbs of screws, each battery provided a hour of good power

Great deal

I bought this drill in a 4 piece set to replace a wooden picket fence. When I finished, I had put in over 22,000 screws and the drill never gave out. It still works fine. The 20v battery that came with it gave out about a third of the way through but I didn't expect it to last through the project anyway. I bought the large capacity battery to replace it and didn't have any problems the rest of the way. Great tool.

Excellent Cordless Drill

Purchased this to replace a current cordless drill at the recommendation of one of the Lowe's hardware folks. Found it to be an excellent product with plenty of power to handle everything I've thrown at it. Used it primarily for drilling wood screws into the outdoor cedar fencing after a big storm in the area caused me to replace a number of sections. Great drill at a good value

This drill has been great so far. At under $100 for the drill, battery and carry bag, this was a great value. Add to that the fact that PC has a solid reputation and this was a good buy.
