What Customers Are Saying

The spline roller tool is a low-quality, plastic product that is not suitable for frequent or heavy-duty use. Many customers reported that the plastic components quickly wore out, broke, or became damaged after just a few uses. The tool is described as flimsy, unstable, and prone to causing injuries and damage. However, some customers found it adequate for occasional, light-duty use, noting it was easy to use and got the job done, considering the low price. Overall, a higher-quality metal and wood tool would likely perform better and last longer, especially for frequent screen repair work.

Does what it's supposed to do

Would Recommend

There's absolutely nothing fancy about this. It's a plastic handle with plastic wheels. That said though, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Much better than trying to use a screwdriver to push in the spline all the way around the screen door! :)

screen mania

I didn't even know what a spline was until I tried to make a screen window without one! Tore up the screen pretty bad on my first try. Then, I read the directions - bought this spline roller. My second screen bowed in the middle and did not fit perfectly. However, the screen was taught and without tears or rips. Now, when I need a screen I whip out my spline and slippidy smack the job is done and DONE WELL!
