What Customers Are Saying

Customers praise these limestone edging stones for their natural, elegant appearance and durability in landscaping projects. Most highlight the white coloration, natural veining, and heaviness that keeps them securely in place for flower bed borders and retaining walls. Reviewers appreciate the sturdy construction and ease of modification with basic tools. However, some note inconsistent sizing in width and thickness, requiring extra sorting during installation. A few report occasional chipping upon arrival. Despite these minor quality variations, most customers find the stones deliver strong aesthetic and functional performance for outdoor landscaping.

Good product overall

Would Recommend

They are good quality stones. The o ly real drawback is that they are certainly not all 4x4”. There was a lot of variety in width, althoigh the length and height are oretty conaistent. There was enough play that we could match up wider and narrower ones together, however. They good good once installed.

Austin Limestone

Would Recommend

These are being used as edging to match the white limestone used on my house exterior. Two pallets were purchased. I found one per pallet that had broken on natural fault lines in the stone. So buy extra. They have been cut a consistent 4" wide but the other width varies somewhat. They can be broken by using a hammer and cold chisel. I used Thompson water Seal to keep them looking white and avoid algae growth.

Nice looking. QC is an issue

Would Recommend

Really nice looking and the length makes them look very nice. as others have commented, i feel that some would fracture or break easily. in store i found moderate variability in the thickness/weight. i could definitely see some of the thinner ones run into problems during/after transportation.

NOT DURABLE Edging Stones

Would Not Recommend

We bought these stones last July 2014 for our flower bed border. They start to chip off by themselves after exposed to one winter season. The ones that have been exposed to running/draining rain water are chipped off more than others. They are very soft and weak. DO NOT BUY THEM. We're probably have to replace them in the near future. They look nice but NOT DURABLE.

Easy to work with

Used these to build a border around a new flower bed I made for my wife. They looked so nice ended up using them on all of my beds in the yard.

Not happy with them

Would Not Recommend

We put these around our flower garden last May. They do not look good now. Several of them are broke up and most of the others have pieces chipping off. These are not cheap either. Now I have to figure out something else to replace them.

The look of the Texas Hill Country.

Would Recommend

The stones are cut to look very nice (smooth on the tops and bottoms, rough on the sides). They are mostly the same size, but some stones are a bit thinner or fatter than the average size and might be best considered for a bottom stone in a retaining wall. Since the stones are cut from natural limestone, the look is natural and reminiscent of the Texas Hill Country, but that also means that some stones contain impurities or marks that might contrast or stand out against the whiter facade of a m...
