Ratings & Reviews for Paslode 2-in 18 -Gauge Cordless Straight Finish Nailer (Battery Included and Charger Included)

Excellent product

Battery powe finish nailer

Out of the box, the product looked great. I quickly learned that the power wasn't just from battery but required a second power source to work. So, it sat until I remembered to buy the file cells. $20 for 2. Loaded the cell and battery and nails. Made noise. Wouldn't fire. Took it all apart and back together. First fire, took two nails and jammed. Cleared jam and wouldn't fire again. Sitting in the box. Useless.

Nice and light weight

I've never had a nailer before, and I was happy to give this a try since it was lightweight and battery powered. It is easy to use and fits my grip well. I like being able to use this verses using a hammer and nail. No more smashing my fingers on my projects. The carry case is sturdy and convenient.

Nice finish nailer

Very nice battery powered finish nailer. I've wanted one of these for a long time for small projects I have going on in the workshop but could never justify the price. At any rate this nailer is well made and pretty simple to use. I will say that the tool did not come with much in the way of instructions and the QR codes that were provided to get you to instructions did not work. It should also be noted that the tool does not come with any nails or the gas cartridge that is required for oper...

Nice alternative to an air nailer

I used this paslode nailer to trim out a scuttle hole for attic access. It worked great but I did notice a butane smell due to the enclosed space. Next I trimmed out my underdeck with PT 1x6" boards. The paslode was great for that as I was working on a rolling scaffold and didn't have to drag an air hose around. The nailer comes with a carry case, battery and charger as well as safety glasses. You do need to buy a fuel cell and paslode nails (2 pk of fuel cells and 2,000 ct nails we're about $2...

Finish Nailer Freedom

I have used compressed air powered nailer before, but this nailer sets me free from being tethered by a hose or cord. Comes in a really nice rugged case that has just enough room inside for all essentials that come with it, including eye protection, battery, charger, and instructions. The only exceptions being 1. Hearing protection is definitely needed and recommended, but I have to carry mine separately and 2. It is not supplied with any fuel or nails. However, there is just enough room to sne...

adds an extra kick to my morning routine

2-in-1 18-Gauge Cordless Straight Finish Nailer by Paslode Cordless I recently had the pleasure of trying out the 2-in-1 18-Gauge Cordless Straight Finish Nailer by Paslode Cordless, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. This nailer is specifically designed for fine trim applications, leaving only a small hole in detailed trim work, which is perfect for achieving a clean and professional finish. What really sets this nailer apart is its lightweight design, weighing in at just 4.25 lbs. Th...

New Evolution Battery Powered Nailer

I absolutely thought this Cordless Straight Finish Nailer was nice. Here's what I liked it's light weight making it easy to handle for a variety of jobs up high or down low, it's compact making and not as bulky as other nailers I've had, and it's got a really nice hard shell case that protects the nailer when not in use and makes it easy for transporting when needed. I found it easy to load nails, it has easy to read instructions to handle the nailer and the color is a nice pop of orange. What I...

Makes trim work much easier

Amazing tool makes trim work so much easier. It so much easier and quieter the using an air nailer. Having no hoses to deal with and no compressor noise makes the job less stressful. Plenty strong enough and no having to go back with a nail set because of low pressure.

PASSLODE CORDLESS16 Gauge Straight Finish Nailer

I'll tell you one thing about this Passlode CORDLESS Nailer and that it's ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and Very Easy to use too!! The Carrying Case it comes in SHOWS you this Product is made by a company that CARES about their products also! I can't believe how lightweight it is, BUT EXTREMELY POWERFUL! I used this to nail up a piece of trim in my garage and was VERY HAPPY on HOW it handled and how POWERFUL it was too! I LOVE THIS TOOL and will use this for many projects coming up and also EXCITED there...

Cordless and lightweight

This is my first time having a nail gun so I cannot compare it to others. This gun uses both a battery and fuel cell to power the unit and drive nails. I found the gun to to be light and with the built in hanger it was easy to carry around. The battery and charger were included but in order to use the gun you will need to purchase a fuel cell and nails, both which were readily available at my local Lowes store. The supplied carrying case included a pair of safety glasses and also has room to hol...

High end nailer

The Paslode 2-1/2 16 ga finish nailer feels like a top of the line product. I’ve used pneumatic nailers for years and this cordless tool is as good or better. It does require a rechargeable battery and charger (both included) and a gas canister (not included) to operate. Nails will need to be purchased before using this product as well. This nailer is lightweight and versatile, it comes with a very handy belt hook to free up your hands as you work. I haven’t used it long enough to see how long a...

My new nails gun for finish work around the house

The paslode 18 ga cordless finish nailer arrived in a very sturdy case. Has battery and charger included. It's well made and very comfortable to use. The belt loop is very handy

Great for professionals or constant hobbyist.

I wanted one of these for years but for some reason I never bought one. This one works great. It's very durable and efficient and great for trim work. I was not aware that it takes a battery and gas cartridge to operate, or that you should remove it before putting it back in the case at the end of the day. It is very well made and one cartridge lasts about a day. I would recommend this to mostly professionals because of the cost to operate compared to just a battery powered one.

Finish Nailer

This is my 1st cordless Nailer. I have been putting off getting one because they seemed heavy, slow, and expensive. I think I waited long enough. After using this Finish Nailer I might have to look for more battery powered cordless Nailers. We tested it on a little job tacking up some T1-11 quickly on a screen porch then going back and putting in a few screws. So, after a stop at Lowes for finish fuel and 18-gauge nails, we got to work. Way better than dragging out a compressor and hoses. It wo...
