Would RecommendThis synthetic underlayment is a great produc. It is slip resistant, it provides more grip,it will not tear out from underneath your feet. If you take a skylight off and just have paper laid after tear off and you happen to step on the hole, it would literally save your life, you would trip and fall on the decking but you wouldn't go through I. It also holds number 5 burgundy chalk really well, even the lower grade chalks. It will stay on the paper for 4 days and you can still see it. If you...

Must have
Would RecommendI debated for a while on getting synthetic versus traditional felt paper I'm trying to stay ahead of the times and I see most new construction as I'm driving by it is using synthetic and not felt, therefore when I went to Lowe's I bought synthetic.

Excellent product
Would RecommendDefinitely a super improvement over felt paper. Great temporary rain barrier. Doesn’t distort with dampness, allowing chalk lines to be snapped first thing in the morning with dew. Easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Worked great.
Would RecommendWorked well. rolls out flat and it is strong. I would definitely use it again. It is a lot better than the other brands. I was going to go with GRIP-RITE, but it felt too thin. The Owens corning under-layment is thicker and stronger in my opinion. I also like the fact it is 42" long making it easier to apply with less overlaps.

1000% better than felt
Would RecommendThis synthetic underlayment is so far superior to felt paper there really is no comparison. We only used staples to fasten it and it never moved during the entire shingling process with us walking all over it and pulling bundles of shingles off the ridge. When you figure you get 1000 square feet in one of these rolls versus the 450 in a roll of 15# felt you would need almost three rolls of felt to equal one of these. (You would have to buy three rolls because they don't sell 100 square foot r...

Great product!
Would RecommendJust did a garage roof in this today. It was really easy to work with, is durable and light weight, lays flat, and is fairly inexpensive. Installed with recommended nails with 1" plastic washers. Holds fast in the wind. Will definitely purchase again.
