With laminated shingles you can't use regular shingles for the ridge like you can with 3-tab, so you need these. They're perforated, which makes them easy to work with.

Great Product, but a pain to carry
Would RecommendThe shingles look great and the installation is easy to understand and easy to do. I was patching a spot that the previous roof owner fouled up and the 4 year old shingles look as new as the ones i just added. My only complaint is a problem wiht the entire shingle industry. The packaging is always shredded and you consistently use 1 or 2 shingles from every package due to damage. The packaging itself could be more clear about what type of shingle it is. Once again this is the entire industr...

At the Top of it all
Would RecommendThese work well and look good in place. Ridge caps are correctly sized, scored for easy breaking into singles, and match the roof shingles well.

hip and ridge shingles
Would RecommendShingles were very easy to install. No problem separating the pre perforated pieces. Just bend them back and forth and they pretty much came apart on their own. One of the easiest tasks I've had building the new shed on which they were applied. The only con I have about these is that they are not a stock item at Lowe's and I had to wait a week or more to get them.
