Would Not RecommendConsiderable force is needed to be sure that the tube has fully seated in the fitting. A good idea is to mark the outside of the tube before inserting it so that you know when it is fully in. The fittings are supposed to be reusable and the tube easy to withdraw. Once the tube is fully seated it is almost impossible to withdraw it. I broke one fitting trying to withdraw the tube. The fitting is designed for and works with Orbit tube. unit was difficult to press together to lock on to piping. connection blew open when water pressure added. if i could get it tight it did hold, dont know what the future holds however.
